Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality has approved a Dhs100 million cave and glass house project in the Quran Park.
Designed from an Islamic perspective and aiming to educate visitors in the miracles in the Holy Quran, the Quran Park, built in Al Khawaneej, offers something extra special than just green space in a thriving metropolis and the addition of the cave and glass house are the icing on the cake.
The two developments are meant to be key elements of the park, which is designed in the style of the famous Andalusian gardens in Southern Spain.
As well as being architectural masterpieces, the attractions will also be educational. The Cave of Miracles will highlight significant miracles referred to in the Quran using the latest interactive technology, while the Glass House will contain some (there was a mention of 51) of the 54 varieties of plants and trees mentioned in the Quran.
