In an attempt for everyone to fit in everything before the summer is officially here, the last 10 days have been spent in a whirlwind of events, travelling and exercising (with a tiny bit of relaxing thrown in.)
First was a trip to the beautiful Copenhagen as a guest of Pandora to view the launch of their new line for A/W13. Unfortunately it was all very top secret so I can’t show you the collection but I can show you a little bit of what we did…

On our arrival to Copenhagen, our first stop was a shop at Pandora.

Caught up with the amazingly talented and beautiful Anita Tillmann from Berlin Fashion Week fame.
The presentation happened to be at my favourite hotel, the Hotel D’Angleterre which has just been refurbished and is the place to be for anyone who likes their hotels 5-star and fabulous.
Another two places that are a must for an epicurean’s visit to Copenhagen is Nimb for drinks and Royal Smushi Café for a long lunch. Both are contemporary, cool and located in the best parts of the city.
Back in Dubai it was time to enjoy the weekend, so in my downtime, I headed downtown for the newest brasserie come bakery, Maison Bagatelle. Sampling everything from the tapenade to the mini lemon meringue pie, our taste buds were treated to a gastronomic feast.
Next stop was the Grand Hyatt Dubai for my June Jacobs Signature facial with Boram at the Ahasees spa. After a lot of cleansing, steaming, extracting and masking – I was feeling brand new and ready to tackle the week ahead.
To start the week on a certain high, the EW team and I headed down to Flywheel in Burj Views with some of our lovely readers to sweat, stretch (and scream) it out in a Flybarre class. The incredibly talented Barry Ennis put us through our paces, pulsing it out for an hour. As always, I had a fabulous time and want to thank our wonderful (and might I add) extremely fit readers for taking the time to get fit with Team EW. We were all a bit wobbly the next day but look forward to our next session!

One of the best parts of my job has to be dealing with designers from all walks of life and some are sprouting up right here in our backyard! I was fortunate enough to be asked by ESMOD to judge their third year students final presentation which resulted in an incredible show at the Wafi Mall. Huge congrats to all the students and winners.
