Celebrating inclusion, individuality and confidence, Selena Gomez unveils her makeup brand Rare Beauty, which is set to launch exclusively at Sephora in the Middle East from July 1, 2021.

Having first launched her makeup brand just last year, Gomez is now entering into the Middle Eastern market with her Rare Beauty products which have a “unique sensorial story”, perfect for everyday self-expression.

In a statement released by the founder and creator of Rare Beauty, Gomez said, “Being rare is about being comfortable with yourself. I’ve stopped trying to be perfect. I just want to be me.”

In minimalist, chic and portable packaging, both the Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation and Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer are available in 32 different shades to accommodate all skin tones.

Gomez, who is an advocate for mental health, believes that everyone is unique and rare, however, many people today feel trapped by idealistic expectations of beauty which are near impossible to achieve.

In response to this, one per cent of all sales from Rare Beauty, as well as funds raised from partners, will be donated to the Rare Impact Fund. Aiming to increase access to mental health resources, the fund has announced its motivated target to raise $100 million over the next 10 years, which will make it the largest known funds in support of mental health from a corporate entity.

Also being released, inspired by a calligrapher, is Rare Beauty’s Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner which consists of more than 1000 individual hairs to easily achieve a precise and bold wing.

The full collection includes makeup products varying from primers, blush, brow pencils and gel to dewy lip balm in eight shades.

The collection will be available to purchase in store at Sephora and on www.sephora.ae from July 1, 2021.
