After a 13-month engagement, Elie Saab Junior married Christina Mourad in spectacular ceremony held at Church of Bkerke in Lebanon.

For the religious ceremony the bride wore an intricate haute couture gown that took 450 hours to make. This included 4.5m long train, detailed embellishment, artwork that required three pattern makers and fine embroidery.

In the evening Elie Saab’s daughter-in-law stepped out in another masterpiece. The sweetheart line corseted gown with an elongated train required an intense amount of craftsmanship, including 330 hours of embroidery, 100 hours of moulage and volume creations, and 180 hours of tailoring.

Later on that night, Christina had another outfit change but this time into a more relaxed ensemble. The white jumpsuit featured a Seventies silhouette, plunge neckline, gold belt and headpiece. She styled it with a golden embroidered cape.

As expected, it was a dazzling affair with an impressive guest list and performances. Chantal Thomass, Dita Von Teese, Toni Garrn, Sara Sampaio, and Karolina Kurkuva were among the attendees while Nancy Ajram, Elissa, Assi Hellani, Michel Fadel, DJ Jamie Jomes, Djette, and Caline entertainer the 1000 guests. The much anticipated wedding wrapped up at midnight with a spectacular firework display.
