With a remarkable surge in the female workforce and entrepreneurs over the years in Saudi Arabia, this women-only co-working space by SheWorks came at just the right time.

As the newly introduced work from home culture amid the pandemic has seen a rise, women also require a safe working environment with facilities that allow for seamless operations throughout the day.

The new co-working space, which is based on Ath Thumamah Road, Riyadh, will have an array of facilities such as photocopiers, printers, scanners, air-conditioning, WiFi connection, a lounge area, a kitchen area for complimentary coffees and a meeting room with a separate attendance for male attendees.

The concept works with renting out desks and office spaces to female-only businesses on a monthly basis, as women can work and learn from others alongside them. It offers an immaculate space to learn and grow, giving them a structured environment to flourish in.

Founded by Maha Shirah, who’s a prominent member at the Businesses Women Committee in Riyadh Chamber and the Saudi Coordination Council for Women’s Labour, her mission was to create a have that motivated women to work in, while ensuring that it’s safe.

Born with the intention to empower women, Maha noticed a gap in the market and started this concept, as she noticed how women needed a separate work environment of their own to grow and expand their businesses, especially as entrepreneurs.

SheWorks is situated at Ath Thumamah Road, Riyadh with its listings available on the platform coworker.com
