This one is for the books as Saudi Arabia is all set to participate in the Miss Universe event making history for the country.

Having officially joined the Miss Universe pageant with Rumy Alqahtani as the country’s first-ever representative, this news came as one of the firsts to everyone as the country is now making strides in the world of beauty with the pageant all set to take place in Mexico on September 18, 2024.

Based in Riyadh, Alqahtani is both a model and content creator with over a million followers on her social media platform.

The news was shared on the participant’s Instagram account, where she first released images from the photoshoot representing the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, while expressing her gratitude and enthusiasm

“This is a major achievement for Saudi Arabia as we enter the global arena of beauty and diversity,” Alqahtani captioned her post.

By now putting Saudi Arabia on the global map, Coming Alqahtani has a lot of experience as a fashion model, as she has participated in several beauty pageants like Miss Woman International, Miss Global, Miss Planet International, and Miss Arab World.
