American actress, Sarah Jessica Parker, stunned at the 30th GLAAD Media Awards in Manhattan on Saturday. She championed a creation by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, from his Ready-to-Wear Autumn Winter 2019-20 collection.

The 51-year-old shot to fame back in 1998, courtesy of her iconic role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. Her character was a glamorous, urban-chic fashionista which eventually led to Sarah starting her own line of shoes, the SJP Collection. So, it is not surprising that the actress turns heads with every outfit she wears, and her dress at the GLAAD awards was no different. Her Elie Saab satin-crepe floor-length dress is designed with a mix of blue tones with a constraint black print to really make it pop. The ensemble features puff sleeves, which add another dramatic element, whilst the tie waist pulls in the silhouette to flatter the figure.

Sarah was at the event to present her good friend, The Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen with the Vito Russo award. While at the event, Andy revealed to Entertainment Tonight that neither him nor Sarah will be attending the MET Gala tonight. “We are not going on Monday. She’s on a plane somewhere, and I have to work.” It is hard to imagine the gala without the actress, who always brought her A-game to one of fashion’s biggest nights.

Never missing a beat, and always nailing the theme, we look back at some of her most iconic MET Gala looks:
