The who’s who of the fashion industry donned their finest threads for a night of sartorial grandeur at the opening of a special exhibition,  A Special View Of Salvatore Ferragamo’s Atelier, at Milan’s Accademia delle Belle Arti Brera.

Stretched through the academy’s designing classrooms, all the way to the magnificent Sala Napoleonica, the show ran alongside Milan Women’s Fashion Week for three days only, from February 23.

Enlarged photographs of Salvatore Ferragamo’s original atelier at Palazzo Spini Feroni as well as archive images from Ferragamo’s illustrious history, took centre stage at the exhibition, which attracted a host of A-list names from Hollywood star Hilary Swank to socialite Miroslava Duma and model Leigh Lezark.
