When it comes to weddings, the focal point of the day more often than not is the bride’s gown. This especially rings true when it’s a royal wedding.

This was no different for the royal wedding of Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe and Persian pianist Mahkameh Navabi.

The pair wed in a small civil ceremony previously due to the pandemic, but last week said ‘I do’ again in front of their family and friends in a larger ceremony and the bride wore a luxe haute couture gown designed by Azzi and Osta.

Mahkameh’s gown was designed with intricate embroidery detailing and an impressive train. This luxury silhouette also had an enchanting off-the-shoulder flair to it. From organza petal world to the house’s signature ruffles, fans couldn’t help but praise her flawless wedding gown.

With over 700 hours of making and immaculate attention to detail, the gown defined a new era of elegance built upon precise techniques of production.

“It was a great pleasure throughout the whole process which had been going on for a while,” the designer of the gown, George Azzi, said. “What started out as a formal meeting, within a year ended up in a much-cherished relationship with Prince Alex and Princess Mahkameh.”

With all the royal elements combined in this wedding, from the horse-drawn carriage to being seen in the family tiara, the couture gown surely made its own noteworthy impression.

The wedding took place in Bückerburger Stadtkirche in Germany with several prestigious royals who made it to the guest list to witness this special day.
