Returning to Barbados in style!

At this point, Rihanna has managed to comment her place in the music, beauty and fashion industry – proving that she can do it all. Wether she is dressing up for the MET Gala or the airport, the BadGal is always on point, and her arrival in Barbados is no different.

Earlier this week, Rihanna went back home for the annual Crop Over harvest festival in Barbados. The singer, beauty mogul, and fashion designer was spotted at the airport in an all-black outfit that left us reconsidering our leggings and sweater travel combo. The Umbrella singer looked edgy and cool in a satin, front-tie blouse by Collina Strada, a New York-based brand that touts itself as a social awareness platform. She continued the dark theme with a black wrap skirt from her Fenty collection.

The stylish airport look also included two Middle Eastern designers. Rihanna championed one of her favourite shoe-designers, Jordanian-Romanian Amina Muaddi. She wore the NAIMA sandal, which she paired with black mini tote back from Tunisian label Maison Alaïa, which was founded by the late Azzedine Alaïa. Later on that night, Rihanna was photographed partying with friend and posing for selfies in the same outfit – nothing compares to a day-to-night look. However, from the photos of the event, we could see that the fashion designer swapped her Amina Muaddi heels in favour of white Reebok sneakers, and we totally approve.

This isn’t the first time that Rihanna is spotted sporting Amina Muaddi shoes. She was last spotted repping the Jordanian-Romanian designer on her Instagram stories, when she posted a picture of her in the neon Lupita sandals. Before that, she rocked the brand’s Begum glass sling-backs at her goddaughter’s 5th birthday in New York.
