After returning from her Italian vacation with boyfriend Hassan Jameel, Rihanna spent the Sunday celebrating her goddaughter’s 5th birthday in New York, and we predict it was a princess theme.
Singer, designer and beauty boss stepped out in a dress over jeans combo, a throwback to one of the biggest trends of early 2000’s with hints of the punk era. The purple mesh dress was layered over a white T-shirt for grunge feel, but softened with feminine touches such as layers of jewellery, hair clips, a feathered bag and heeled glass sling back shoes from Jordanian designer Amina Muaddi.

It’s not the first time that RiRi was spotted in Muaddi’s quirky creations having previously worn Naima sandals while on holiday in Barbados. Designed in France and made in Italy, the Jordanian-Romanian creative clearly believes in dressing from the feet up. She studied and worked in Italy before moving to Paris and now has a loyal following including Kylie Jenner and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
