What a look!

One of the staples of Oscar night is the after parties taking place after the award, and Beyoncé’s was special enough that Rihanna jetted from New York to Los Angeles for the night.

Not one to miss a good party, Riri made sure to hit LA just in time to enjoy some post-Oscar festivities. The entrepreneur attended Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s famous after party, where she wore stunned in an asymmetrical Alexandre Vauthier black ruffle dress. Of course, Rihanna’s look wouldn’t be complete without heels from her favourite shoe designer, Amina Muaddi.

The Jordanian-Romanian shoe designer and Rihanna have an incredible relationship, as the award-winning singer has championed the designer on countless occasions. Whether its on the red-carpet or a day with friends, there is a good chance the beauty mogul is championing the regional designer. Not just that, but Amina Muaddi shoes were a part of Riri’s highly successful Savage x Fenty show, proving how much the Work hitmaker loves the brand.

Just days ago, Rihanna was in New York, attending a fashion week Bergdorf Goodman party for her Fenty line. During the event, the designer spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how well her fashion line was received, while teasing her highly anticipated next album.

The nine-time Grammy winning artist’s last album Anti was released four years ago, and ever since fans have been asking for a new record. However, in that time, the multi-talented Riri managed to release a highly successful makeup brand, a lingerie label, a fashion company and a book.

“I like to antagonize my fans a little bit. Well, they antagonize me, too! So, they get it right back.”

When asked about her Fenty line, Rihanna offered a more verbose response. “The journey’s been incredible,” she said. “It’s a lot of hard work and just being true to your brand. I’ve always tried to stick with things that I enjoy doing and that I’m passionate about.”

“Fashion, being creative, that’s one of those things—it doesn’t matter the outlet, I always enjoy it. Fashion comes naturally, because of the industry that I’m in. It’s a part of my visuals, it’s a part of my videos, so it’s always been something that I’ve been interested in. To have this opportunity to do a Fenty brand with LVMH is special. It makes me feel validated.”
