In commemoration of this milestone, the esteemed jeweller from Place Vendôme presents five new pieces and an exclusive high jewellery set, paying homage to the radical and minimalist essence of the Antifer line.
With a legacy dating back to 1957, Repossi has consistently upheld a commitment to jewellery excellence across three generations. Through Antifer, the Maison has been redefining traditional jewelry norms and asserting its individuality by introducing avant-garde reinterpretations of classic Place Vendôme designs. The hallmark of Antifer lies in its profound simplicity, embodied by a ring crowned with an angle that embodies minimalist elegance.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary art and architecture deeply embedded in the House’s DNA, the Antifer collection showcases radical and minimalist lines, accentuated by sharp angles and a play of full and empty spaces that harmonize seamlessly. These pieces, characterized by tension and simplicity, demonstrate that true beauty lies in the unadorned.
The cutting-edge design, characterized by taut lines, is a testament to Repossi’s expertise in high jewellery craftsmanship. Each Antifer piece is meticulously handcrafted in Italy, following the finest traditions of jewellery making. Employing the lost wax casting technique, every ring is individually created, refined, and polished before being assembled at precise angles using flame-welded gold pins that ensure structural integrity. This meticulous process, made possible by the mastery of traditional techniques, allows for the exquisite delicacy of the renowned Antifer points, which are meticulously shaped and polished. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Antifer, Repossi has unveiled five new pieces and an exclusive high jewellery set that epitomize the fusion of design and jewellery excellence. These creations, with their radically simple aesthetics, firmly establish Repossi’s connection to the realms of art and design.
The collection debuts with a masterpiece: a stacked ring featuring ten rows, a tribute to the decade of Antifer’s existence. This maximalist interpretation of the iconic design introduces asymmetrical rings of varying proportions and widths, with and without diamonds, coming together in a dynamic rhythm that enlivens the composition of the jewellery.
Expanding the repertoire, the Antifer motif, characterized by its protruding peak and radical architecture, is stretched and replicated in a new necklace design. The necklace captivates with the iconic motif’s omnipresence and repetition, composed of twenty-nine gold links, including a double diamond-set motif. An ingenious invisible clasp, artfully designed to seamlessly merge with the necklace, is revealed as the final link, highlighting the shape’s purity.
The collection further encompasses three additional designs: medium and large-sized hoop earrings boasting a double Antifer motif, intended for individual wear, pairing, or combination. Another addition is a long pendant necklace featuring a chain and a fully paved Antifer motif, adding to the celebration of Antifer’s 10-year milestone.
