Time to dress like our fav fashionista
At this point, there is no denying that Friends is one of the most popular shows in TV history. Even though the show premiered 25-years-ago, nothing tops the influential impact that it had.
If you are a fan of the show, then you probably remember when Friends resident fashionista, Rachel Green got her dream job at Ralph Lauren. The job allowed Jennifer Aniston’s iconic character to hang up her aprons, and welcome a stylish work-wear wardrobe.
Now, in honour of the shows 25th anniversary, American fashion brand, Ralph Lauren is paying tribute to our favourite 90s fashionista, Rachel Green. Dropping online and in stores, the label released a capsule workwear collection channeling Rachel’s style.

In true Friends style, the collection is titled ‘The one where they all wear Ralph Lauren.’ Fans and fashion lovers alike can find pieces that will take their workwear style to another level. You can expect polo neck sweaters, pinstripe suits, mini skirts and preppy shirts. To make things even more nostalgic, the Wear To Work collection will be on display at the location of Rachel’s very first big fashion job, Bloomingdales, New York.
If that isn’t enough for your Friends heart, you can also celebrate by driving down to The Dubai Mall. They are set to display the iconic orange couch, rug, and coffee table from Sunday, September 15. Not only that, but if you are around the fountain and Burj Khalifa on September 22, then you will surely witness a show inspired by the series. There will be two light shows at 8.30pm and 9.30pm, and they will be synced with The Dubai Fountain which will be playing the theme song I’ll Be There For You by The Rembrandts.
