As the UAE starts slowing down this weekend in anticipation of the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan, for many it is a time to prepare for the month to come. Here are a few ways to do just that, and perhaps squeeze in a few World Cup matches too…

REFLECTIONS ON RAMADAN

Bloomingdale’s at Dubai Mall has teamed up with 15 talented students from the Dubai Women’s College to present ‘Reflections on Ramadan’, a window design concept and campaign. Mentored by the Al Tayer Group Creative Services team, the students from the Applied Communications program have creatively interpreted what the Holy Month means to them as young Emiratis. Expect emotive colour and innovative artistic expression from this group of young creatives-in-training. The windows will be unveiled today, June 26, and will remain on display through Eid al-Fitr.
