WATCHING THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

Based on the autobiographical book by Jane Hawking, this film tells the story of her relationship with Stephen Hawking, a theoretical physicist and cosmologist who is one of the world’s greatest minds. Early in their marriage Stephen was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease or ALS) that saw his physical abilities deteriorate until he was virtually paralysed. Their combined strength and determination enabled Stephen to continue to pursue his groundbreaking work. Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne star in this touching film for which Redmayne just won a Golden Globe for his incredible performance.
