Shine bright like a diamond
Queen Rania is one of the region’s fashion icons, nailing every look she champions and her latest is different. The royal and her son Crown Prince Hussein joined King Abdullah II in New York, where he was awarded the 2019 Scholar Statesman Award.
The Queen attended the event at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy in support of her husband. The King received the award in recognition of his leadership and commitment to advancing peace, stability and tolerance in the Middle East. The Scholar-Statesman Award celebrates outstanding leaders who have proved that an extensive knowledge of history are essential to wise and effective policy toward the advancement of peace in the area.
Queen Rania shared a photo of her and the King from the event with her 5.7 million Instagram followers. The royal shined next to her husband, as she donned a sparkling silver-sequined suit, which she paired with a black clutch bag. Redefining how we wear a power-suit, we love this look on the Queen.

The Royal also took to Instagram to share a photo of the King receiving his medal. She captioned it: “I am always so proud and overwhelmed by people’s love and admiration of Your Majesty around the world. We’re so blessed and lucky to have you! Congratulations on receiving the 2019 Scholar Statesman Award in New York.”
