Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan were welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the UAE and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on an official trip to the UAE last week.
Queen Rania also meet with Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, the Mother of the Nation.
Per WAM, the UAE’s state news agency, the pair met at Al Bahr Palace where they discussed “fraternal relations between the two peoples and cooperation in several fields, most notably the foundation related to women, children and youth in the two countries, and ways to develop cooperation and exchange expertise in this regard”.
Following their visit to the UAE, Queen Rania shared a heartfelt message about always having the “fondest memories” when coming to the country.
“Between the gracious hospitality of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the inspirational warmth and kindness of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, I always leave the UAE with the fondest of memories,” she said on Instagram, sharing a photo with King Abdullah upon their arrival to Abu Dhabi.
A few days before, the Jordanian royals had been visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain and were welcomed by Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
