King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan recently touched down in Qatar for an official visit.

Upon their arrival, the royal couple were greeted by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, met the king at Doha airport, which marks the first meeting between the two nations since the pandemic began.

During their visit, Queen Rania met with Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the wife of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and former Emir of Qatar.

The pair met at Al Ramlah Palace where they discussed their mutual interests.

Sharing an insight ot their meeting, Queen Rania and Sheikha Moza both shared photos on Instagram.

Sheikha Moza shared two photos of herself with the Jordanian royal, first one of the pair on the couch and the second of Her Highness walking with Queen Rania, presumably around the palace.

“Her Highness met with HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan this morning at Al Ramlah Palace,” the post were captioned.

Meanwhile, Queen Rania also shared two photos from the meeting.

Like Sheikha Moza, Queen Rania also posted a photo of the pair sitting on the couch. But the second one showed the royal pair appearing to have a personable conversation.

“It was a pleasure catching up with Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser earlier today,” Queen Rania captioned the post.

The trip to Qatar was a fleeting visit for King Abdullah and Queen Rania as it’s been reported the couple is already back in their home country of Jordan.
