As the majority of the world continues to self-isolate and social distance in order to curb the spread of coronavirus, it appears the down-time is having a positive affect on Gigi Hadid’s relationship with boyfriend Zayn Malik.
The couple are currently self-isolating together, as many saw through the sweet photos Gigi shared on social media over the weekend of her birthday celebrations.
According to Hollywood Life, a source revealed the model is actually enjoying the time she has off at the moment, as she’s getting to spend more quality time with Zayn, 27, as she’s normally travelling so much due to work.
While there’s plenty of people jokingly saying – or perhaps they’re being serious – that quarantining with their significant other has got them driving each other crazy, it’s the opposite for Gigi and Zayn.
“It’s been good for her relationship with Zayn because a lot of the things that stress them out, namely her having to be gone so much for work, have been taken away,” the source told the publication. “They are able to just be together without all the outside pressures and that’s a great thing.”
The couple originally started dating in 2016, and have been on-and-off ever since, with their latest split taking place in mid-2019, but the pair reunited earlier this year, but have been keeping their romance away from the public glare.
Gigi did subtly confirm they were back together in February on Instagram, posting a sweet snap of her boyfriend on her ‘Gi’sposables’ account on Valentine’s Day.
Over the weekend, the 25-year-old also shared one sweet photo of her and Zayn sharing an embrace as Gigi celebrated her birthday.
