The eldest niece of the late Princess Diana, Lady Kitty Spencer, wed South African businessman Michael Lewis over the weekend in a lavish ceremony in Italy.

For the big day, Dolce & Gabbana designed a number of custom-made exclusive Alta Moda dresses for the bride.

Kitty’s wedding gown was a classic Victorian-inspired high-neck design with long sleeves, which was delicately crafted with white lace.

Sharing a photo of the stunning bride to the official Dolce & Gabbana Instagram page, the caption read, “A glimpse at the #AltaModa gowns created exclusively by Dolce&Gabbana for @kitty.spencer on the most important day of her life.”

The bride herself also shared the same photo on Instagram thanking designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for designing the gown.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart Domenico & Stefano for creating a gown beyond my wildest dreams for the most important day of my life There are no words that could ever express my gratitude,” Kitty, who has been an ambassador for Dolce & Gabanna for a number of years, said.

The bride, who has been very private about her relationship with her now-husband, also shared a photo with her “armore” on Instagram. The groom wore a white suit, with a black bow tie and black loafers.

Giving a further glimpse into the other four bespoke gowns designed by the Maison, a video was also shared on Instagram.

“For this unique event, #DolceGabbana created a number of exclusive hand-made gowns, each celebrating the beauty of the bride, the passion for #AltaModa and the absolute joy of the occasion,” the caption of the video read.

Kitty, 30, wed fashion billionaire Michael, 62, who is the chairman of Foschini Group, in at the Villa Aldobrandini in Rome, Italy. The couple announced their engagement 18 months prior in January 2020.

Kitty’s father, Earl Charles Spencer and her siblings Lady Amelia Spencer, Lady Eliza Spencer, Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp were all in attendance, as well as some star-studded guests which reportedly included Idris Elba, Pixie Lott, Made In Chelsea star Mark Francis Vandelli and more.

However, the bride’s royal cousins, Prince Harry and Prince William, were not in attendance.
