A secret appearance
Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first joint appearance since stepping down as senior royal members. However, it was all a secret as the Sussexes covertly stepped out for an exclusive event in South Beach, Miami.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their official move to Canada last month, but according to E! News, the couple flew to the United States for their first appearance. Harry and Meghan stopped by an exclusive J.P. Morgan event at Miami’s 1 Hotel, where the Prince made a speech.
“They came in through a private entrance. They did their speech and left before dessert,” a source shared with E! News. “She introduced him and he spoke.”

It is believed that the secretive event attended by the couple was JPMorgan’s Alternative Investment Summit, which is annually held in Miami. Over the years, the event has become known for its guest list, as it is attended by high ranking and rich public figures such as Bill Gates, Gayle King, and Alex Rodriguez.
Despite the reported outing, there are no pictures of Harry and Meghan from the event. Security at the summit was extremely tight, which allowed the Duke and Duchess to sneak in and out without being spotted. This event comes as a change for the couple, who have been leading a much quieter life in Canada since stepping down from their official royal duties.
Reportedly, Harry and Meghan have been spending their days hiking, cooking at home and having quality time with their young son, Archie.
