What happens when Prada and Adidas come together? A sneaker collaboration like no other.
The Italian luxury house is joining forces with one of the leading sportswear brands to bring you the most stylish and functional sneakers around.
According to the press release: “The aim of this partnership is to investigate the realms of heritage, technology and innovation – and to challenge conventional wisdom through unexpected strategies.”

Fusing fashion and sport, it will be an exclusive limited-edition collection for both men and women, all made in Italy by Prada. Inspired by The Luna Rossa sailing team, the capsule is expected to be unveiled in 2020.
But don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long to get a taster as there will be two limited-edition Prada for adidas styles released in December. “Originating in the realm of sport, transposed to street style and now translated to luxury, classics from each are here re-contextualised, visited anew.”
Luna Rossa Challenge, originally named Prada Challenge, is an Italian sailboat racing syndicate first created to compete in the 2000 America’s Cup.
