There’s no secret that we ladies at EW HQ love to daydream about the perfect wardrobe – away with the fashion fairies as we like to say. So when we saw the autumn/winter 2014 campaign for POCA & POCA we completely related to the whimsical vibe… and we fast added the collection to our daydreams…
Embarking on an unexpected voyage in a hot air balloon, the POCA & POCA girl is enchanted by the beauty of the world she sees far below. She admires the splendour of rolling meadows as far as the eye can see, fields of beautiful orchards and flowing rivers glowing in the sun’s rays. As the hot air balloon floats along the hills and gardens, she feels the romance of the air gracefully blowing through her hair as she dreams of her destiny and where her next journey will be.
The autumn/winter 2014 POCA & POCA collection, titled Enchanted Voyage, comprises of an array of colours from canary yellow to royal blue, baby pink, shimmering nude, grey, white and black. The collection expresses a fairy tale charm through the purity of carefully composed prints and tailoring using precious materials of tulle, mixed textures of viscose, cotton and silks, revealing a sparkle upon movement with a play of light and dark.
Staying true to POCA & POCA’s signatures, the collection is made from sophisticated fabrics, which add the brand’s iconic dimensions; think bubble shoulders, charming volume skirts with ruffle tulle, elegant high-waist pants, feminine capes, as well as regal long skirts and dresses.
