Hermès reveals the Kellymorphose collection, a deconstructive yet playful take on the Kelly handbag.
Kellymorphose includes incredible pieces that have been reimagined and constructed to be wrapped around your fingers, wrist or around your neck as a jewel.

The Kellymorphose collection is the latest Hermès jewellery launch. It introduces an innovative way to wear the iconic Kelly bag, reimagined as jewellery. Creative Director of Hermès jewellery, Pierre Hardy’s inspiration was to reinterpret the detailed features of the Kelly to illustrate the brand’s approach to creativity. Its features the trapezoidal structure, lock and key and the touret. Together these pieces evoke a powerful statement.
The artisanal values of Hermès ensure a quality relationship between material and craftsmanship. Even more so with Kellymorphose. This collection showcases the use of material. From rose gold and silver to the use of black and white diamonds. These are intricately set on the designs, as can be seen on the Kelly Baguettes Five-Row Bracelet. This showcases the creative disruption and reinterpretation of what a Kelly bag would be in gold and diamonds.
The Kelly Bag, Reimagined
A Mini Kelly may be small, a Sac Kelly Bijou on the other hand, is even smaller. Unlike the Mini Kelly, the Sac Kelly Bijou does not hold anything. No, not even your lipstick or card. It serves as symbol of appreciation for the iconic original bag.
The Touret
This design features intricate details of the Kelly handbag. The pieces incorporate the signature touret. The touret is an elemental clasp consisting of a turnlock present on many of their handbags. It is functional because you can turn it to open and close, as shown on the Kelly Baguette Choker. On the contrary, here it is ornamental, as it is set in diamonds and made in gold.
The Lock and Key
In addition to the other features present in this collection, lock and key makes a statement on a couple of the pieces. As shown swinging across the wrist with the Kelly Clochette Bracelet or for example, dangling on the ears with the Kelly Clochette Earrings. This vital feature of the Kelly handbag is revived in a new way. Similarly to how it hangs on an Hermès bag, it also decorates the neck. Always in a constant state of motion – swinging from side to side, moving from left to right.
The Ring of The Season
The Kelly Gavroche Double Ring acts as the showstopper of the collection. The ring features the Touret. It is encrusted in diamonds and made to wear around two fingers. Wrapped within the metal bounds, as if it were a gift – with an Hermès clasp. That is a present you do not want to unwrap.
