Netflix much-loved royal drama is recruiting.
We are eagerly anticipating the return of The Crown season 3 to our screens this summer with a brand new cast including Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman, but Netflix are already working on the following series.
It looks like that the hit television show are holding auditions with the media-services provider advertising for a “staggeringly talented young actress” between the age of 18-22 to play Diana, Princess of Wales.

The Telegraph reported that the royal drama creators “need a mesmerising new young star with extraordinary range.”
“She has to play charming comedy, flirt and social exhibitionist on the world stage, desperate and lonely self-harmer at her lowest ebb and the kind of psychological intensity of Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby,” it continues.

Some believe that Bohemian Rhapsody’s Lucy Boynton, and Les Miserables actress Ellie Bamber are in the running to get the role. Season four will focus on Prince Charles and Diana’s relationship, marriage, birth of their two sons Prince William and Harry, and divorce.
