If you want to know where some of the most inspiring thinkers in the region will be today, it’s at the seventh edition of Platform 09 in Fujairah.
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Shamseh bint Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, daughter of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, ruler of Fujairah, the event kicks off today. This year, the five day, free of charge event which celebrates, supports, and brings together female Arab designers, artists and entrepreneurs will be launching under the theme of “Harmony.”

“We are women with full and exciting lives. We have careers and businesses, we have families, we travel, we explore and experience life. We live life to the fullest. We can find harmony in every aspect of our lives, if we choose to,” says Her Highness.
Team EW will be on the ground, checking out 90 female Arab designers, artists and entrepreneurs. There will also be 10 food trucks and 10 live performers to look forward to. Whatever you choose to explore, you have to make time for Forum platform, which has been the heart and soul of Platform 09 since its inception in 2014. This year, the forum will celebrate and highlight female Arab artists and performers, transforming the space into an experiential theatre which will play host to a number of performances across practices.
