We challenge you to think of anyone who hasn’t owned at least one pair of adidas Superstar sneakers in their life. Throughout its 50-year existence, the instantly recognisable silhouette has graced the feet of teams and crews at the forefront of culture worldwide.
To mark this occasion, the brand has enlisted a ‘class’ of known personalities from the worlds of music, fashion, sport and art, to star in it’s latest campaign named ‘Change Is a Team Sport’. Throughout the year, adidas Originals will use the power of teamwork on series of initiatives designed to create and inspire positive change in local communities across the globe.

Kicking things off is a film directed by and starring Jonah Hill. It follows as skateboarded Jenn Soto rushing through various scenarios featuring familiar faces like, Pharrell Williams, Yara Shahidi and Anitta all dressed in black tracksuits and Superstars.
“There’s no knowledge without the older generation who did it first. And there’s no change or progression without the new generation,” explains Jonah Hill. “So, if those two generations come together, I feel like that creates the atomic charge for great art and great creativity.”
Generations evolve, but a great shoe remains a great shoe. Think we’ll be slipping into our pair of adidas Originals Superstar sneakers over the weekend.
