If we ever needed a musical distraction, it’s now. Our June 2018 cover star, and Dubai resident, has been teasing new work for some time, but now we can finally hear her newest single.
Lindsay Lohan unveiled her latest record ‘Back To Me’ over the weekend, and for many millennials it’s been a long time coming. The uplifting electro beat will get you moving, while the lyrics reflect her personal struggles and acceptance.
The actress and performer has pretty much grown up in the spotlight, and that hasn’t come without consequences. The media has watched the young star party hard with Paris Hilton, go through legal troubles and even documented her stint in rehab.
With all this publicity, many feel like they know the real Lindsay Lohan, but during the cover shoot she revealed that a lot of the stories were not exactly correct.
“The thing is, everyone goes through experiences and experiments, but the things they say I did, I didn’t ever get to actually do,” she previously told EW. “There are some things that I was very honest about and I’ve never lied about. If I didn’t do that then, then I wouldn’t know what I know now.”
Our time with Lindsay also revealed that one of the reasons she moved to Dubai is it’s “lack of paparazzi”.
“Moving here was a fresh start,” she admitted. “You hear more about real current events rather than celebrity gossip, which I really appreciate.”

Those who have grown up with Lindsay on screen, from Parent Trap to Freaky Friday to the iconic Mean Girls, will welcome her 2020 return to music. Can we expect an Instagram Live DJ set? Let’s hope so.
