Market yourself

If you’re concerned your Saturday morning market run will be no more now the warmer weather is here – worry not. If you’re like us, you love a good weekend market, so will welcome the very good news that the summer Ripe Markets have returned. Every Saturday, the cult market will move indoors at Times Square Centre. In addition to getting your fruit and veg for the week, we recommend you check out the local artisans, crafters and jewellers and their bespoke, handmade works. If you have the tots in tow, there are tonnes of stuff like craft stations, indoor cinema and a petting zoo to let them loose in while you shop.

The Ripe Market, Times Square Center, Dubai, every Saturday from 9am to 3pm. ripeme.com.

Or shop from the comfort of your couch…

If you don’t fancy a day out at the malls, log on to local site ounass.com and check out the latest bespoke collection by cult Aussie brand Zimmermann. It’s a collection designed exclusively for us in the Middle East, and you will want to buy everything in this boho-meets grown-up-girl line. The best part is that once you buy, the pieces can be delivered to you in under two hours – perfect if you change your mind about going out on a school night.
