Rummaging through the racks can feel a little overwhelming, but it’s always worth it when you find a real steal. And with up to 80 per cent off brands including Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Versace, H&M, Topshop and Victoria’s Secret, you might find a gem at this year’s Big Clearance Sale. They’re calling it the world’s poshest fish and chips, and to be fair, Pierchic’s offering does sound pretty deluxe. Featuring prime turbot and triple-cooked fries, it’s a couple of steps above your typical greasy newsprint bundle (not that we’d ever talk down on that). Perfect for the end of the week.

Get cash back for chowing down
We like food, we like money – so we like everything about BiCE’s new weekend deal. The Italian restaurant is offering a Dhs250 food voucher back for every Dhs500 spent at their Friday brunch (so think of it like a half-price brunch, plus a pre-paid dinner in the bag). Blend a workout with brekkie
A leisurely session of Saturday-morning stretching is one of our favourite weekend activities, and one new combo also brings our other top passion – eating – into the mix. Urban Yoga’s new Alserkal Avenue studio is offering a morning class, plus breakfast downstairs at HAPI cafe, for Dhs120 per person. You can choose from a healthy egg bowl or acai bowl, plus coffee or orange juice, which should help counteract everything we ate at Friday’s brunch.
