We all love concept store, The Zoo (and Bambah of course) on Beach road but when we heard The Zoo was opening up a permanent pop-up at the Level Shoe District in The Dubai Mall – we were obviously over the moon.
Last night saw the most fabulous 20 to 30 something’s mingle, shop and snap up all the cooler-than-thou bits that The Zoo has to offer. The brain child of Hussein Abdul Rasheed, The Zoo houses the best books, humorous gifts and sculptures under the one space and attracts those with a love of art, design and fashion – basically everything for the young epicurean.
Graffiti artists worked their magic on a stand-alone canvas while guests munched on mini doughnuts and spray painted their own t-shirts.
The gorgeous guest-list included Maha Abdul Rasheed (a-la Bambah and 2011 winner of the Visionary award at the Emirates Woman of the Year Awards) who stole the show in one of her own designs, the darling Dinz sisters were front row centre and our very own Senior Editor Sophia made a purchase or two.
Like we needed another excuse to visit The Level Shoe District…
