Shining the light on regional designer

Former Pussycat Dolls lead vocalist and pop-star Nicole Scherzinger has been spending the past week in the UAE, where she has been championing regional designers. The 40-year-old beauty performed at the closing ceremony of the Special Olympics held in Abu Dhabi, where she performed her new song, Victorious.

Nicole, ever the fashionista, took advantage of her presence in UAE and donned two looks from Dubai-based brand Mrs. Keepa for her performance. Her performance was an absolute must-see, as she stunned in a shimmering outfit courtesy of Mariam Yaya. Her coat-pants combo were as fierce as can be, a total boss look.

The second look was just as fierce as the first, as the Hawaiian-American singer wore an all black ensemble from the designer’s Fall-Winter 19 collection – an all round fierce look. The designer posted images of Nicole from the performance, which she captioned, “What better way to reveal some of our FW19 collection pieces!”

But the didn’t just show Mariam love on stage, as she wore a third look from the designer during a dinner out in Dubai. She wore a two piece matching set, which included a black and white stripped maxi-shirt and a cropped long-sleeve blouse, showing off her extremely toned abs.

Mrs. Keepa wan’t the only regional brand sported by the Don’t Cha singer, who turned to a Lebanese designer while celebrating jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz at an event in Hong Kong. Nicole turned heads in an asymmetric silver sequin jump-suit by Nicolas Jebran.
