Over this few months, us and the rest of the world, have been obsessing and slowly falling in love with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s relationship. The couple, who wed back in December (they had four receptions!) are celebrating the anniversary of their first-date, and it couldn’t get any more romantic.
Even though the power couple are celebrating this milestone apart, Nick, ever the romantic, wrote his wife the sweetest message, for all the world to see. The Jonas Brothers band member posted a loved up picture of him and the Bollywood actress from their Cannes debut. He captioned it: ““One year ago today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends. One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife. I am so grateful for our journey together so far. You make me smile every day and you inspire me to be the best version of myself. I am honored to be your husband. I love you.”

Priyanka replied to the post with a comment that was just as sweet, writing: “The most amazing thing that ever happened to me is you. I love you babs.” The loved up duo have had somewhat of a whirlwind romance, which started with Nick sliding into his now wife’s DM’s and suggesting a date. The couple went out for drinks a week before attending the 2017 MET Gala, but nothing beyond that happened. A year later, they went on their first official date, were engaged two months later, and then wed in an elaborate ceremony in India.
But this isn’t all Nick did for the anniversary, as the Sucker singer earned himself major brownie points for surprising the 36-year-old with diva, Mariah Carey. The Isn’t it Romantic actress is now in London, after a short trip to Ethiopia with UNICEF. While in the English capital, Priyanka attended Mariah’s show at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday as part of her Caution Tour, and then got the chance to meet her backstage, thanks to some arrangement from her husband.
The actress posted a picture with the We Belong Together singer, which she captioned: “The best husband ever.. A #lambily member’s dream came true…Even through he was busy and we were apart, he made sure I celebrated our one year anniversary w my fave! The incomparable @mariahcarey #Mimi— you were amazing! So lovely meeting you and thank you for the incredible show .. you will always be my baby @nickjonas Happy one year love!” You know what the say, actions speak louder than words!
