It’s no surprise that the latest film in the The Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire, is the most hotly anticipated movie on the fashionista circuit. With costumes as dramatic as the special effects, the cast look catwalk-ready in every scene. But now you too can look as style savvy as Jennifer Lawrence’s character Katniss, with Capitol Couture releasing a collection, inspired by the movie, on net-a-porter.com.
The online fashion house announced it will sell the 16 luxury pieces, designed by Catching Fire’s costume designer, Trish Somerville, just before the film’s international release on November 22. The line includes ready-to-wear pieces as well as jewellery and leather goods.
Holli Rogers, fashion director at net-a-porter.com, said: “Fashion plays an important role in The Hunger Games series and is especially prevalent in Catching Fire, and fans of the franchise will see the film reference in the collection. This is also brilliant fashion in its own right, and we’re delighted to provide our customers with the chance to purchase limited-edition pieces.”
Capitol Couture by Trish Summerville will be available exclusively at net-a-porter in November. Sign up to be notified of the arrival of the collection here.
