A vision in white

Nancy Ajram and Cyrine Abdelnour are two of Lebanon’s most recognised faces. The former is a mega pop-star in the region, while the latter has made a name for herself in the music, film and beauty industries. Throughout the summer, the two singers were performing all of the Arab World, much to the joy of their fans.

The Lebanese super-stars had a major twinning moment at one of their concerts, both taking to the stage in angelic white looks. A month ago, during a show in Tunisia, Nancy wore a coloured floor length dress from designer to the stars, Georges Hobeika. The ruffled see-through dress was taken from the label’s Ready-to-wear SS19 collection. However, there were some changes made from the runway to fit the Badna Nwalee El Jaw singer’s image, which included closing up most of the cleavage.

Meanwhile, during a show in Syria a few days back, Cyrine channeled Nancy and her white look. The singer, who made her return to TV drama this Ramadan, wore a floor-length dress by Lebanese designer Tony Ward. The white lace dress is taken from the designer’s Ready-to-wear Fall-Winter 19/20 collection. Both dresses had a similar V-neckline, but unlike Nancy’s dress, Cyrine’s skirt had mostly lace.
