Imaan Hammam has been part of the buzzing fashion world since she opened for Givenchy’s Spring 2014 collection aged 17. She has proceeded to worked with everyone from Versace to Alexander McQueen, building her portfolio and expanding her knowledge of the industry.

Fast forward to now, and she has collaborated with Frame on a 20-piece capsule collection that reflect her personal style – that sits between laid-back cool and grown-up glamour – and also highlights her work with grassroots organisation that helps empower women through education, ‘She’s the First’.
Available to pre-order now on the Frame website, expect cut-off denim shorts, vintage-wash jeans, suit and a long black leather blazer – Imaan’s personal favourite. In her career, the Dutch model with Moroccan and Egyptian roots has become an icon for inclusivity in the fashion industry, and to mark that words ‘freedom’, ‘diversity’, ‘youth’, and ’empowerment’ are printed in bold font on orange and white hoodies.

“When I first started in the business, people didn’t know what to do with my hair, didn’t know what kind of foundation to use for my skin. I got passed over for jobs because I was too ethnic,” Hammam said in the past. “At some point, I was like, OK, I’m just going to wear my hair natural. This is me. And now people are celebrated for their natural beauty. And I think that’s so important for young kids to see.”
