Glamour, glitz, and a little provocation worked onlookers into a frenzy this season as designers sent models sashaying down the runway in attention seeking looks reminiscent of showgirls from a bygone era.

Marc Jacobs led the way at Louis Vuitton, presenting astounding feather headdresses and elaborate embellished bodices.

Miuccia Prada layered ruffled bra tops over dresses at Prada, and at Miu Miu she sent out sparkling fringe corset bras, luring out fashion’s playful side.

Ladies, there’s no better time to shake off that serious side and dazzle with dramatic wardrobe additions.

“The collection’s for the showgirl in all of us,” said Marc Jacobs at his final Louis Vuitton show. Release your inner showgirl in these glittering sequins and fantasy fringing.
