What is the 2024 Met Gala Theme?
Last year, the theme was — Karl Lagerfeld, the designer of Chanel, Fendi and his own brand, making it both the subject and dress code. his year’s theme, “A Garden in Time,” is based on a short story by J.G. Ballard. In that story, the rich hide themselves in Arcadian splendor while unwashed and rioting poors amass outside. Meanwhile, it will be in support of this year’s exhibit, —“Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”—will celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition of the same name; The exhibit will feature approximately 250 items drawn from the museum’s permanent collection, some rarely seen in public before, and displayed in entirely new ways.

As per Business Insider, with the Met Gala being one of the most exclusive events in the fashion industry, a single Met Gala ticket costs $75,000 (Dhs275, 467), and that’s only after you’ve been invited by Anna Wintour.
