Miss Lily’s entered the Dubai restaurant scene in 2016 and ever since has been delivering some of the most entertaining nights out for patrons based in the emirate and across the globe.

With just four locations across the world – two in New York City, one in Negril, Jamaica and one in Dubai – Miss Lily’s has become an iconic venue to visit.

However, it wasn’t an easy process to bring the brand over to Dubai for VKD Hospitality Founders Khalil Dahmash and Varun Khemaney, who are also responsible for DIFC hotspot Indochine.

In a previous interview with Emirates Woman, the pair admitted it actually “took a lot of time and effort” in order to bring the brand over to the Middle East for the uncertainty of how the unique nature of Miss Lily’s would translate in the region.

“However, after months of back and forth, they chose us as they felt that we truly understood how to translate the brand over to Dubai without losing the true essence of what makes Miss Lily’s so special,” they said.

Five years on, and the venue – located at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road – is more popular than ever, as is its Friday Blazin’ Brunch.

With a whole host of tracks that will make it hard to stay sitting and killer Jamaican cuisine, it’s the ideal place to go with friends who are looking for a unique and fun experience.

As far as hero dishes go, to start with we recommend the sweetcorn fritters, followed by the world-famous jerk chicken with the coconut cake slice for dessert.

However, be warned, if you’re sensitive to spicy food, you may want to ask for just mild seasoning as some of the dishes are exceptionally hot.

Regardless, if you haven’t tried the Miss Lily’s Blazin’ Brunch it’s definitely one to add to your list and if you’ve already been, why not book in again?

The Miss Lily’s Blazin’ Brunch is on every Friday from 12pm to 5pm. Packages start from Dhs200 for soft drinks, Dhs225 for ladies and Dhs350 for gents.
