First there was Gisele and now there’s Miranda. Today, H&M launches its new spring collection with its latest face – Australian model-of-the-moment, Miranda Kerr.
Having recently posted on their twitter account: “Exciting news! Supermodel @MirandaKerr will be the face of our #HMSpringFashion campaign!” the popular high street brand have (again) shot an incredible fashion story with the Antipodean beauty, which makes the range look every bit high-fashion. H&M describes the ultra-glam, yet edgy, fashion shoot has a “real California-cool style, focusing on the beauty of spring in an urban setting.”
Whether its posing on the pages of magazines, advertisements, catwalks or her regular ‘pap’ moments – Miranda Kerr is well on her way to building her own successful empire – without the help of her ex-husband, actor Orlando Bloom. Since their recent split, the world is seeing a lot more of Miranda and a lot less of the Hollywood heartthrob.
Miranda’s professional estate is growing by the day. In addition to being the latest face of H&M, Miranda represents other brands including Reebok, ShopStyle, Clear Scalp & Hair and Swarovski. The work experience she gained walking the catwalks for Victoria’s Secret has not gone astray either as Miranda has also recently been signed up as the new face of Wonderbra. It seems everyone wants to be associated with the beauty.
Not happy with being the face of so many mega brands, the multi-skilled star has turned her talents to writing – she penned Treasure Yourself – and has her own line of organic skin care – Kora Organics. Being the master of her own brand, Miranda promotes every aspect of her life through her website mirandakerr.com. She also has 3.9 million likes on Facebook, 3,437,209 followers on Instagram, 2.66 million followers on Twitter and her YouTube videos are viewed by the thousands daily. So what is next for the entrepreneur? A career in singing perhaps? “I love to sing,” she says. “and I’ve recorded a few covers and originals with friends, but I haven’t written any songs.”
