Met Gala 2024: A Preview of “The Garden of Time”

Ballard, the theme promises a whimsical journey into a garden teeming with translucent, time-manipulating flowers.

Scheduled for May 6, the Met Gala 2024 will be a star-studded affair co-chaired by none other than Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth. For Hemsworth, it marks a debut onto the Gala scene, while Bad Bunny returns for his third stint as co-chair, adding his unique flair to the event.
Last year’s Gala saw luminaries like Penélope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Roger Federer, and Michaela Coel steering the festivities, celebrating the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” exhibit with a dress code paying homage to the legendary designer.

This year’s exhibition, titled “Sleeping Beauties,” promises to enchant Gala attendees and museum-goers alike with a curated selection of approximately 250 items spanning four centuries from the Costume Institute’s esteemed permanent collection.
Divided into three captivating “zones” – Land, Sea, and Sky – the exhibit promises to transport visitors into a world where fashion meets fantasy.
