Ingie Chalhoub, Khadija Al Bastaki and Miral Youssef
A triptych of exceptional female leaders are joining forces alongside Jessica Michault, Senior Editor of Emirates Woman magazine, to form this year’s Emirates Woman Awards jury. Ingie Chalhoub, Founder and President of Etoile Group, Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group PJSC and Miral Youssef, the President of Kering Middle East & Africa will convene to select the winners.
A total of 48 nominees have been shortlisted from the past 12 print issues of the magazine, with winners decided through a combination of public votes and the discerning eye of our distinguished judges. The awards will recognise achievements across the last 12 months, with an additional honour bestowed on one of those winners, who will be named the Emirates Woman of the Year.
The awards are taking place on November 5, 2025 at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, ballroom, to champion and shed light on powerful names in the industry.
This year’s jury is determined to continue the award’s legacy of championing women who inspire and uplift others. Their expertise and vision will ensure the Awards remain the ultimate celebration of paradigm shifting women from across the region, and the globe.
DISCOVER THE JURY

Building on her 43 year legacy, last year Ingie Chalhoub was honoured with the Emirates Woman Visionary Issue Award 2024 and crowned Emirates Woman of the Year. A testament to her visionary spirit, the accolade reflects her ability to redefine boundaries while staying true to her craft.
Today, as a jury member for the 2025 Awards, she brings that same forward-thinking lens to celebrate, elevate, and empower the next generation of changemakers. As the Middle East style icon, business leader and philanthropist, She has been shaping the region’s fashion landscape for over four decades. As the founder of Etoile Group in 1983, she has been instrumental in redefining luxury retail, introducing some of the world’s most respected Maisons including Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Tod’s, Etro and Aquazzura to the Middle East, while also pioneering her own omni-channel concept store, Etoile La Boutique. Beyond her entrepreneurial vision, Chalhoub is also deeply committed to philanthropy.

As part of the jury, Khadija Al Bastaki’s unwavering commitment to excellence will ensure the Awards continue to shine as the region’s most inspiring celebration of trailblazing talent and leadership. Al Bastaki is known for being at the forefront of shaping Dubai’s creative economy and positioning the city as a global hub for design, fashion and innovation.
Since 2019, she has driven forward visionary initiatives, from co-founding Dubai Fashion Week to building strategic partnerships with leading international design powerhouses, all while nurturing an ecosystem that today supports more than 1,100 businesses and 20,000 creative professionals. Her leadership extends beyond d3, serving on the Board of Dubai Women Establishment and contributing to initiatives that empower women and amplify the region’s cultural voice. A champion of creativity, Al Bastaki’s influence is a testament to the transformative role women play in shaping today’s cultural sector.

Miral Youssef has an impressive career spanning a number of luxury companies including Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Theory, Chalhoub Group and Balenciaga. With Dubai as her base, in her current role she continues to bring a wealth of expertise in luxury strategy and market development to the region and is driving Kering’s growth and brand presence across eight countries.
Beyond her executive role at Kering, Youssef champions female leadership, mentors young talent, and serves on advisory boards such as the Arab Fashion Council and Heriot-Watt University.
