They really got us
Yesterday we kicked off the month of April, and with it came a day filled with pranks and fake news. From Justin and Hailey Bieber’s very committed pregnancy announcement (it sent the internet into a frenzy) to Jeniffer Garner revealing her memoir, there have been some interesting jokes. And even though we were really expecting these jokes, we have to admit that there were some that really caught us off guard. Specifically Maisie Williams and Diet Prada, who made our heart stop for a second or two, and so we decided to share their perfectly executed pranks with you.
Maisie Williams
The actress, who plays the role of Arya Stark, in hit show Game of Thrones nearly gave us a heart attack during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. With the series finale premiering later this month, fans are in the look out for spoilers on what will surely be a dramatic season; however, thanks to strict instructions from HBO the stars of the show are not allowed to let anything slip. So when Maisie appeared on the late night show and slipped some major details regarding the fate of her character, we were ready to disregard it.
Even though the 21-year-old was joking, her shaking hands, trembling voice and teary eyes definitely got us to believe. We have to say, her performance deserves all the awards. Don’t believe us? Watch for yourself.
Diet Prada

The now infamous Instagram account has made a name for itself over the past four years, courtesy of their takedowns and calling out fashion brands and the Kardashians. However, Diet Prada their 1.2 million followers with a lengthy post detailing how its time for them to leave the account behind. “Recently, we’ve been listening to your feedback the past several months and you’re all right…we shouldn’t be doing any sponsored content. Although we’ve been doing less than a dozen per year, it’s more important to maintain its integrity.”
“Honestly, the Kardashians don’t even pay us enough to keep talking about them and are difficult to work with lol, so it’s back to the work force for us! We’ve got bills to pay just like everyone else 🙂. Although we’re moving on from this phase of our life, we still believe wholeheartedly in the mission of Diet Prada, so we’re putting up the account and password on eBay,” they continued.
The post, which has garnered more than 30,000 likes in six hours, took fans by surprise, including Bella Hadid. The supermodel left a comment under the post writing, “It this an April Fools joke you guys?” They added a link to their bio, which was supposed to take bidders to eBay, but instead took them to Diet Prada’s /gotcha page, where they succinctly say: “APRIL FOOLS!”
