Find your shade!

One of the most recognisable beauty brands, Mac Cosmetics is fond of creative collaborations. With the latest including six beauty influencers from the region – giving us a new lipstick collection.

The makeup brand’s latest campaign, “newest generation of Mac makers,” includes Arab influencers, each of whom had to come up with their lipstick shades which will hit MAC stores on February 26. The beauty bloggers included in the campaign are: Jordanian makeup artist Hindash, Kuwaiti influencer Farah Al-Hady, Kuwaiti content creator Lujain Al-Dhafery, Lebanese model Nour Arida, Iraqi blogger Dima Al-Sheikhly, Lebanese YouTuber Maya Ahmad.

Around this time last year, the cosmetics brand flew the influencers out to its HQ is New York so they could create their shades. While working on their lipsticks, Maya posted a black-and-white picture teasing her followers. “The moment i picked my PERFECT @maccosmeticsmiddleeast shade! We had 3 samples based on what we proposed and shared. They created EXACTLY what i wanted! i cant wait for you guys to see the shade!!! You will LOVE IT inshAllah!” she wrote.

Over the past few years, MAC Cosmetics collaborated with several celebrities and influencers from the Arab world on incredible limited edition collections. Last year, the beauty brand worked with Lebanese songstress Cyrine Abdelnour on the ‘Rose-Gilded Glam’ collection. They also partnered with Tunisian street-artist eL-Seed on what was a global collection.

Just last month, MAC Cosmetics released their anticipated collaboration with Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri and her Saudi make-up artist, Nora Bo Awadh. The Middle East exclusive beauty line features several must-haves from the beauty brand which is available in regional stores now.
