We are obsessed with this futuristic look

Oscar winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o just won 2019 with her latest red-carpet look. She arrived at the world premiere of her newest film Us, at the SXSW festival in Austin in a pantsuit from Saudi brand Honayda. The is the second horror film directed by Jordan Peele, following Get Out which was a critical and box-office success, and received an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

At the premiere last night, Lupita brought confidence, edginess and creativity to the red-carpet with her beauty and fashion look. She wore a white power-suit by Saudi Arabian designer Honayda Serafi, who is spearheading her namesake label Honayda. The pantsuit, which is from the brand’s Spring 2019 collection, featured a double-breasted tuxedo blazer, with cut-out sides, tulle on the right shoulder and white matching flared trousers.

The 36-year-old Black Panther actress, and her makeup artist Nick Barose, took the ensemble to another level thanks to her futuristic and edgy beauty look. Lupita’s red-carpet makeup look drew its inspiration from different places, specifically the 80s and Snoop Dogg. The look was made up of a dramatic, sweep of red eyeshadow across the eyes, which was inspired by the fierce ’80s music videos. Also, there was the crown of metal duckbill clips, which drew its inspiration from the infamous rapper.
