Calling all fitness fanatics and style lovers, lululemon Atheltica finally arrives in Dubai.
Lululemon Atheltica launches today at the new Evolution 2015 extension in Mall of the Emirates, making it the first in the region with 15 to 20 extra stores in the pipeline.
Already making a mark in the UAE, the brand has teamed up with local wellbeing and fitness ambassadors to help promote its range and showcase its versatility.
While it started as a yoga brand, lululemon clothing is worn by all kinds of trainers. Something which is showcased through its ambassadors, who include Omar Sultani, 37, vinyasa yoga teacher at Urban Yoga, Karina Bensemann, 37, Crossfit coach at Rig Crossfit, Melissa Dahlia Ghattas, 37, vinyasa yoga teacher at Zen Yoga, Nour Mansour, 32, indoor cycling instructor at Flywheel Sports and Karlee Hale, 23, Barre instructor at Physique 57.
“lululemon ambassadors are athletes, yogis, instructors and/or role models who embody and reflect the brand’s core values,” said a brand spokesperson. “They are athletic leaders who share the lululemon passion and dedication for elevating the level of health and fitness in the communities.”
For those who aren’t aware of the brand or part of the ‘lululemon cult’ – you soon will be with its fans already including celebrities from Oprah to Kim Kardashian – lululemon Athletica is a yoga-inspired technical apparel company for women and men based in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 1998 by outdoor sports enthusiast Chip Wilson, lululemon operates to date more than 300 stores throughout the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Singapore and Hong Kong.
What makes lululemon so popular is that it provides seriously stylish clothes, which are built by athletes for athletes. There is also a focus on fit, function and technical performance.
