“The foundation aims to commemorate the blessed anniversary of the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, and to continue to realise his vision and aspirations in humanitarian work,” reports Wam, the UAE state news agency.

The non-profit organisation will cover “sustainable programmes and projects that serve humanity in all fields at the local and international levels, providing assistance to support and improve the healthcare, education and infrastructure sectors, and any other objectives assigned to the foundation by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.”

A worthy tribute to a man who had a significant impact on the emirate and the fashion industry.
