With the festive season in full swing, the Emirates Woman team share their soiree styles, reveal their icons and divulge their sartorial tips.

Jade Sprowson, Style Editor

When out on the town I always wear flirty feminine pieces, basically pretty but with a little bit of edge. I avoid being predictable so I always play with contrasting pieces. Whether it’s serious statement neck candy worn with a delicate lace slip dress or fierce caged sandals paired with a ladylike dirndl skirt. I don’t take my style too seriously – you’ll always find a hint of the fun factor in what I’m wearing.

Parties I’ll be attending

From the Moët party at DIFF to New Year’s Eve on the beach, my sequins will be doing an awful lot of shining this month.

What I love most about Carrie Bradshaw from SATC is her timeless style. I can watch any episode from season one to season six and still to this day get inspiration from her outfits. I mentally applaud Patricia Field (SATC stylist) every time I watch the series.
