Swoon alert! We just want to give a big shout out and thank you to Diesel for making the gorgeous Liam Hemsworth the face of its new fragrance campaign.
The younger brother to Thor star Chris Hemsworth looks positively brooding as the new face for the Diesel Only The Brave fragrance, so good in fact the image is now a screen saver for one member of Team EW.
In a brief sneak peek, revealed on the brand’s Instagram account, Liam Hemsworth, clad in a leather biker jacket, black shirt and jeans, stares into the camera while reclining on some steps in an urban landscape. The caption teases: “Prepare for the big reveal this summer.”
Swoon-worthy Liam Hemsworth for Diesel
The 25-year-old actor, who is most renowned for his role in blockbuster hit series The Hunger Games, seems the ideal role model for the Only the Brave theme. Andrea Rosso, Diesel’s creative director for licenses, explained: “A brave man is characterized by his strength, his determination and, above all, for his ability to live courageously, following his own rules. I think that Liam embodies these qualities, and I’m happy to have him as the face of Only the Brave.”
Much like his older brother, the Australian star found fame on the popular Antipodean soaps Home and Away and Neighhbours. He moved to the States in 2009 to focus on his career, and within a year Details magazine selected Hemsworth as one of their predictions for The Next Generation of Hollywood’s Leading Men. While his first big film was arguably The Last Song, a movie based on a Nicholas Sparks book, (it was through this film that he met and subsequently started dating Miley Cyrus), it was The Hungers Games where he got his big break.
Liam will next be seen on the big screen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 as well as the highly anticipated sequel to Independence Day.
